Description
Whittling will always be an important Schoolhouse of Wonder tradition and is often our camper's favorite activity. This camp will give kids a chance to practice their hand at this timeless tradition while also exploring other woodcraft techniques and styles. Depending on the interests of the group, we will work on our whittling "Growth Rings," learn about woodworking tools, and even try our hand at making awesome creations campers can bring home.
In addition to the theme-related activities listed above, every week of camp may include some classic Schoolhouse activities such as: morning and closing circle, water time, deep woods and field games, whittling, storytelling, and of course, looking for any critters we can find!
