Growth Rings Photo Gallery
Our Growth Rings campers had an exciting and action-packed week as they honed their skills in fire building, plant identification and use, whittling, and snake identification and interaction. Campers worked hard and many earned growth rings to recognize their hard work. When we weren’t working on growth rings, we played games, built forts, sang songs, splashed in the creek and looked for critters. It was an exciting and educational week. Novels in Nature Photo Gallery
This week at Schoolhouse was a thrilling literary adventure full of tales of nature and battling the elements. We read excerpts from classic books like “Hatchet,” “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,” “Tuck Everlasting” and more. We used these stories as jumping off points for a variety of different games and activities. We also enjoyed water time each day, splashing about and looking for critters like crayfish.
