This week campers made rafts out of natural grasses and sticks and practiced their weaving skills. Along with these themed activities, campers had a chance to build forts, splash in the creek, relax during storytelling, explore the forests and fields, try their hand at whittling, and of course, play some amazing Schoolhouse games!

Everyone learned all about reptiles and amphibians this week at Umstead State Park! When campers took a break from catching salamanders and skinks during creek time they spent the rest of their time crafting paper frogs, playing Defeating the Lich and Sachamamba Snake Tag.
