Schoolhouse campers had a rockin’ week! They climbed, skipped, built, and crafted with rocks every day. We used paint to transform rocks into pets and treasures. Our campers showed creativity, care, and strength working with these magic minerals.

It was a fantastic week as we celebrated some of the smallest critters in the forests, ants! When not spending EXTRA time at the creek each day, campers were immersed in ant-themed activities this week, including games like Four Anthills, the Great Ant Chase, and Camouflage.

We got to be as playful as river otters this week! Trying out many new games were we ran, dodged, wriggled, and jumped, we were able to work as a team to succeed and have fun. Not to mention all the time we spent splashing about and playing in the creek, this week was fit for an otter!

What an epic week of myths and merriment! We had a jam packed week full of stories, defeating monsters, and learning new skills! When we weren’t tricking our counselors (or being tricked BY them) we were learning to use a compass, use spears and slingshots, and try out both old greek games and silly new camp games.
