Our first camp of the spring was a hit! This week we spent lots of time on our forest archery range practicing our technique and shooting at various targets, including swinging bags, balloons, and our own hand-drawn paper plates. We also played some classic Schoolhouse games like Windigo and 6 Feathers. We even ventured into the chilly shallows of the Eno River in hopes of kick-starting some warmer spring weather! We hope you enjoy these fun pictures from Spring Archer Camp!

During this week of camp we put the kids to work doing what they do best – playing! We spent our days trying out all sorts of sneaky games, running games, team games, and everything in between. Some favorites were Scout Mission, Windigo, Bum Bum Bum, Doxeneye, and Dragon’s Egg. After each game we had group discussions, where we processed together what worked and what we could do better next time. We also had time to explore the Eno River, and found many critters emerging in the fields and streams for spring time. We hope you enjoy these fun pictures from Game On.

We all survived this adventurous week of wilderness fun! During this camp we spent each day undertaking a new survival task – finding water, building shelters, searching for forest food, and trying our hand at primitive fire-making. When we weren’t busy surviving, we had time for plenty of games, stories, and water time. We hope you enjoy these fun pictures from Wilderness Survival Camp.
