Learning through touch and observing is a great way to understand our natural world. In this weeks camp, campers got a close look at pelts and bones from animals that are seen in the area. We discussed different animal adaptations and how that helps the animal survive in the wild. Campers also looked for creatures hiding throughout West Point on the Eno.
Our campers got a chance to explore the park during this camp week and search for missing treasure! The groups went to various areas of the park that we don’t often visit such as the Amphitheater, Redtail, and Secret Beach. At the end of the week, the campers each got their own treasure – a bracelet!
