August 11-15: Navigating In Nature Photo Gallery
This week, campers explored orienteering through teamwork and problem-solving! After mastering the basics on day one, each day brought a new course for the group to tackle together. They navigated the forest, building skills and confidence in exciting, short bursts of adventure.

August 18-22: Woodchuck Photo Gallery
This week, we experienced the magic and wonder of nature through creativity and play! This fun-filled week was a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. We may not have found any woodchucks chucking any wood, but we had a great time building our own burrows in the forest, climbing trees, and creating our own tongue twisters! Along with these themed activities, campers had a chance to build forts, splash in the creek, relax during storytelling, explore the forests and fields, try their hand at whittling, and of course, play some amazing Schoolhouse games!

August 18-22: Keepers of the Eno (Red Group) Photo Gallery
Just as nature nurtures us, this camp was focused on giving back to our beloved Duke Forest as we nurtured nature and focussed on conservation. We learned small ways to make a big difference for the forests, creeks, and animals of Duke Forest, like repurposing invasive plants into nature art, upcycling recyclables, and restoring the beauty of the park. Our appreciation for the forest grew as we ran, hid, sought and splashed our way through the forests and rivers we’ve helped protect.
