From hula-hoop races to guiding your blind-folded partner, this group tried out a variety of team-building activities. Outside of team-oriented games, these campers also worked as a team to build forts. They all assigned each other jobs, including stick-transporters, builders, and decorators. Spooky Shenanigans Photo Gallery
This week we got to do all sorts of spooky October activities! We built a human-sized spiderweb maze, enjoyed face-painting, carved a pumpkin, roasted pumpkin seeds, and even built our own stilt grass monsters. When we weren’t enjoying all those shenanigans, this group was excited to play games, catch critters, and make a stilt grass fort. We loved ending our week with a family circle inside the fort!

What a WONDERful week we had! Our campers enjoyed sampling all of the classic Schoolhouse activities including fort building, whittling, and all of our favorite games. This group was also skilled at finding critters in Umstead’s woods and tributaries. We even had fun on our rainy day with songs, stories, and fire-building.
