Adventure was had as the group enjoyed a variety of activities throughout Umstead State Park. Each camper had a chance to explore a multitude of new skills and activities this week. We soaked up the beautiful fall weather this week and enjoyed the best of both worlds as we sat by the fire in the morning and splashed in the creek in the afternoon! We roasted marshmallows, practice our fire making skills, whittled, made lots of friendship bracelets, and so much more.

Campers explored the woods of Umstead State Park this week and discovered deer bones, crawfish, fun games, new friends, and more! By the end of the week the group wrangled a turtle and multiple Northern Water Snakes!

This week we explored old and new parts of the forest! We went to our favorite beloved base camps and trekked out to new territory where we found cute animals, epic mudslides, and a new favorite creek spot! We played, splashed, and explored our way through this week as junior naturalists.
