Questions to ask your Earth Art camper (Tuesday)

If you’re curious about what your child has been up to in camp this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…

  • Yesterday was a tough day to start the week but it didn’t stop us from creating some earth art! We spent some time in our shelter working on two earth art projects: batiking fabric with natural dye and creating our own nature journals/sketchbooks. Which project was your favorite and why?
  • This group loves to whittle.  What are the whittling rules?  Why are they important?
  • During our Kick The Can game, our jail was a beautiful American Beech tree.  What makes the American Beech tree an easy tree to identify this time of year? Was Kick The Can a fun game?  Did you like it better than Werewolf?
