We offer a variety of fall programming at Brumley Forest Nature Preserve, located just south of NC-10 on New Hope Church Road. Come explore the forests, wade in the creeks, look for animals, play games, and build forts in a beautiful setting with leaves changing in the forest and beavers swimming in the pond. Week-long camps have varying themes where skills such as fire-building, plant identification, animal tracking, or nature art. Discovery Days combine classic Schoolhouse elements such as building forts, playing games in the forest, and exploring the creek. Fall is an awesome time to be outside and we hope your child will be able to spend their break outside with us!

Every Schoolhouse program provides a unique environment of kindness, respect, and learning. Our themes vary each week, but they’re all nature-based and are inspired by our underlying values. Our award winning camps offer a low camper-to-staff ratio that allows a sense of freedom while providing a safe and nurturing environment. Campers, Counselors-in-Training, and Staff can also challenge themselves to grow and learn by earning “Growth Rings” in areas like fire making, whittling, plant lore, and snake identification and handling.

Oh, and by day’s end, we’ll return your kids dirty, tired, and happy. Guaranteed.
