This week we spent every morning playing classic Schoolhouse games, each requiring running, hiding, and teamwork. After a morning of games, this group loved exploring the tributaries and creeks of Umstead. They spent hours catching critters, building dams, and making mud creations. Check out these photos to see some of our adventures!
We packed so many amazing activities into one week! From throwing tomahawks to making cornbread, our group learned all sorts of skills the early pioneers used. When we weren’t practicing our skills, we were splashing through the creeks and catching frogs by the lake. Even with the cooler weather this week, lots of friendly snakes came out to play!
