July 6-10: Growth Rings: Learn to Earn Photo Gallery
Campers had an epic week in the forest! They learned all about Growth Rings through skills such as whittling, plant identification, and more. In addition to building skills, campers also had a blast playing games, keeping cool in the river, and exploring the woods!

We were flying high this week as we played bird-themed games, looked high in the sky with our binoculars, and made the cutest bird crafts! When we weren’t playing games or making crafts, we had a great time splashing in the creek and hearing our counselors tell fascinating stories.

We splashed and dashed our way through the forest this week playing our favorite games like Six Feathers and Defeat the Lich, and spending extra time at all our favorite creek spots! We found critters, splashed our friends, and had a great time on land and in the water.

What an epic week of creeking, crafting, and constructing! We learned new skills to build impressive structures that put our creativity to the test. When we weren’t building, you could find us wading, splashing, and having a grand time in the creek!

The waters of Richland Creek were no match for these campers! We splashed and skipped our way through water time every day of camp. The fun didn’t stop there – we played on land just as hard, and even brought the water into our games during a splashy game of Drip, Drip, Drop!
July 6-10: Growth Rings: The Journey Begins Photo Gallery
This week, campers launched themselves into the world of Schoolhouse’s Growth Rings! They focused on carefully whittling blocks and butter knives, studied the parts of plants in the forest, and practiced putting together all the ingredients for a campfire. We still made lots of time for games and had many adventures splashing in the creek!
July 6-10: Magnolia Photo Gallery
We had it made in the shade this week at Schenck Forest! Campers worked together to carry limbs for their stick shelters, picked out their favorite sticks to whittle, and practiced balancing on fallen logs. We found leaves and seeds to use in cool crafts and enjoyed the shade of the trees protecting us from the sun and rain alike.

Campers were busy builders this week! They spent the week building forts with their fellow campers and even got to design flags to use to decorate their fort! They also spent time whittling, creating tube cottages, and of course playing some Schoolhouse classics.
