June 1-5: Woodland Artisans Photo Gallery
We got creative in the forest this week! We gathered our own clay to sculpt and paint, crafted nature journals to capture our discoveries, and made beautiful mandalas with natural materials. It was a hands-on, art-filled week that turned the whole woods into our workshop!
June 1-5: Wildflower Photo Gallery
This week was all about blooms and budding imagination! We crafted our own flower pots, made colorful leaf rubbings, and spent our days soaking in the beauty of the plants all around us. It was a bright, cheerful week full of growth, just like a wildflower!
June 1-5: Nature in Balance Photo Gallery
Campers learned all about the balance of nature during a wonderful week in the woods! They learned about how resources are balanced during games such as Predator and Prey, and had a blast splashing around and looking for critters during water time.
May 26-29: Splash into Summer and Busy Bushcrafters Photo Gallery
Campers were able to come together and get the best of both worlds during this combo week that featured extra water time, fire building, and forts! Campers caught countless crayfish, learned knots and lashings to help with their structures, and successfully defeated the Lich.
May 26-29: Celebrate Summer! Photo Gallery
Campers had a wonderful time celebrating the beginning of summer and having adventures in the woods! We kicked off the summer with an amazing first week of camp featuring epic Sock Wars battles, a successful game of Defeat the Lich and too many crayfish to count.

Campers had a wonderful time during our insect themed first week of the summer! They successfully helped a caterpillar in the woods through a game of Scout Mission, acted as different insects in a game of Bug Bug Bug, and had so much fun splashing in the creek and playing in the mud.
April 20-24: Critter Quest Photo Gallery
Critters were bustling about Umstead State Park; just like the campers! When they weren’t too busy catching frogs, watching snakes, and splashing at Booger Bay campers also enjoyed building a variety of crafts throughout this fun-filled week. From painted wands to paper-plate jellyfish, campers made it all!
