May 27-30: Beaver Photo Gallery
This fun-filled week was a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. Beavers are the engineers of nature and this week campers had the chance to be just like them as they played in the forest and river! Campers built and crafted things out of wood this week, just like a beaver.

June 2-6: Leap Photo Gallery
We leaped into summer in this fun, silly week full of all things that jump! We hopped like rabbits, leaped like frogs, and searched the forest for all kinds of jumping creatures. We had a great time playing games, splashing in the creek, and searching the forest for all kinds of treasures.

June 2-6: Gray Fox photo gallery
This fun-filled week was a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. Did you know that Gray Foxes are the only species of fox that can climb trees? That’s only one of the amazing things we learned about this week. Campers had a chance to try out tree climbing, sneaking through the forest, and games that highlight agility and stealth. We also enjoyed a variety of water spots and circle games!

This fun-filled week was a wonderful introduction to experiencing nature! We harnessed the spirit of the acorn-collecting chipmunk as we used our searching, gathering, and camouflage skills in chipmunk themed forest games. We explored the forest creeks and played among the trees!

June 16-20: Bumblebee Photo Gallery
We were busy bees this week! When we weren’t splashing in the creek or relaxing during story-time, we were playing games that had us flying from flower to flower, crafting our own bumblebees, and making seed bombs to help all of the pollinators! This fun-filled week helped us learn, grow, and use our imaginations. It was the bees knees!

June 16-20: Rabbit Photo Gallery
These campers hopped, skipped, and jumped their way through this first week of camp at Schenck Forest. We discovered new forest wonders, splashed in the cool creek, and played exciting games. The campers expanded their imaginations to play pretend as rabbits and crafted with natural materials. What a way to start the summer!
