June 30 – July 3: Chirp Photo Gallery
This week really flew by! We took birdbaths in the creek, searched for bugs, practiced making our own giant nests, and even climbed a big fallen tree! We played games to practice chasing down prey and camouflaging in the forest. It truly was an egg-celent week!

June 30 – July 2: Fawn Photo Gallery
This fun-filled week was a wonderful introduction to experiencing the outdoors. Like a fawn learning the ways of the woods, we engaged our senses to explore the forest and have a deeper appreciation for the world around us! Games like Camouflage and Deer Ears were just a few of the deer-like games that we played.

July 7-11: Longleaf Pine Photo Gallery
Our young scientists discovered the special plants and animals of Schenck forest this week. They brought their imaginations to turn sticks into magic wands and play tree-wizard Beckon! We splashed in the creek, collected walking sticks, and played in SO much mud. It was a tree-mendous week!

July 7-11: Sprout Photo Gallery
We had a plant-tastic week of camp! We started off the week with a seed-sprouting experiment and we continued to learn and grow through other themed activities, like making native seed bombs, and painting with our hand-made nature paint brushes! We also played a game that helped us learn the life cycle of trees. Every day was full of fun and always ended with storytelling and calming activities. We went home dirty, tired, and happy!

June 30-July 3: Clover Photo Gallery
The Clover crew found lots of critters and crawlies this week! We found crawfish, spiders, and snakes as we splashed around in the creek! We also stopped for millipedes, butterflies and frogs along the trails. After our running and hiding games we rested our legs while whittling and making friendship bracelets.
