Our group hit a bullseye during this projectile-filled week! They learned new skills such as archery, corn darts, and tomahawk throwing. While not making a mark with their projectile skills, they stayed busy playing games, practicing whittling, and keeping cool in the river.
It’s not often we get to send things through the air here at camp, but this week we sure did! Campers learned to throw spears with atlatls, used slingshots and played graces, and got to practice those skills in games that challenged their aim, timing, and awareness.
Rain may have been part of the forecast, but it never dampened our spirits. From muddy adventures and campfire laughter to new friendships and unforgettable outdoor experiences, we embraced every moment with smiles and resilience. The rain became part of the adventure, making this camp even more memorable. Here’s to a week filled with fun, teamwork, and memories that will last a lifetime!
