July 13-17: Salamander Photo Gallery
Our youngest campers experienced the magic and wonder of nature through creativity, exploration, and play. They searched beneath damp leaves and mossy logs, discovering salamanders tucked away in their cool, hidden habitats. Along the creek banks, campers learned about these fascinating amphibians and imagined what life might be like from a salamander’s perspective. Through hands-on adventures, imaginative play, and plenty of outdoor fun, they built confidence, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

This week, we explored the wilderness and discovered how to navigate without a GPS! We learned how to use compasses, maps, and even the sun and stars to find our way through the forest. Along the journey, we worked together to complete tracking challenges, crack secret codes, and solve exciting puzzles. We also created our own maps and designed treasure hunts for our friends to enjoy. Whether we took the quickest path or a few unexpected detours, we had an amazing time learning new skills, working as a team, and making unforgettable memories.

During creek time campers looked under rocks for crawfish and searched for the best skipping rocks. They also spent time whittling, fort building, and of course playing some amazing Schoolhouse games.
