Our Kit campers had a blast this week exploring the woods, creeks, and river of West Point on the Eno park. They snuck around the woods playing Beckon, went to work with Bum Bum Bum, tried to avoid being tagged in Werewolf, and protected their Jedis in Sock Wars. Some campers saw and even touched some critters like snakes, bugs, and a box turtle. And of course, they took time each day to cool off during water time, spending many of their afternoons splashing around in the Eno River! It was an excellent week.
Our Woodland Gamers ran, hid, dodged, tagged, snagged tails, stole feathers, found hearts, and much more as they learned to play to honor this week. They played tons of games, including Werewolf, Attack & Defend, Windigo, Sock Wars, Scout Mission, and Six Feathers. Of course, they took time out each day to cool off in the Eno River, even trekking to Secret Beach one day. They saw (and sometimes touched!) animals like turtles, snakes, fish, tadpoles, and more. It was an active and exciting week!
