We had a great time in our first week of the summer, Chickadee camp! We explored Brumley Forest in the fields, woods, and creek and found plenty of awesome critters including Northern Water Snakes, crayfish, minnows, vultures, geese, turtles, frogs, and clams and mussels galore! Our week was filled with some very fun games including Eagle Eye, Beckon, Kick the Can, and many people’s favorite – Sock Wars. Storytelling, whittling, fort building, and tree climbing filled up any extra time we had. It was an awesome week – check out some of our pictures to see more about what we did!
