In Growth Rings: Plants and Snakes, campers learned a lot! They went on a plant walk to learn about the edible and unique plants along the Eno. They searched for snakes too. The rain may have held us back from some of the water snakes, but luckily we got to see a few specimens from a local herpetologist, Dr. Ron. Dr. Ron not only shared his knowledge of snakes but also his love for Schoolhouse, being a former camp parent himself. When not working on our field guides, the group splashed in the creeks and ran through the forest. We played fun games like Werewolf, Six Feathers and Windigo.
