We had a ton of fun in Native Ways camp at our new Whispering Pines location. We played games, built forts, listened to and told stories, and splashed in the creek. The theme this week encouraged us to learn a bit about a few different Native American traditions and customs, like fire-building and atlatl. We also learned about some local plants (including a few that are edible) and found critters like salamanders, crayfish, and snakes.
