We had a thrilling and adventurous week out at Umstead State Park. We learned about many different aspects of outdoor survival. We touched on everything from fire-building to shelter-building to learning to prepare a fresh-caught fish. We learned the basics of first-aid and what to do in the event of an outdoor emergency. Of course, we took some time each day to play some classic Schoolhouse games like Werewolf and to listen to stories. Take a look at the pictures below to see some of the fun!
