Questions to Ask Your Critters of Harris Lake Camper – Thursday

If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…

  1. Wednesday the park staff led a fishing program for us! What are some examples of aquatic food chains?  What type of fish were the two fish we caught?  Do they like to swim at the top of the pond, middle, or bottom?
  2. The group put their imaginations and creativity to the test by creating clay critters today.  What kind of critter did you make?  Did you name it?  Why did you choose those colors?
  3. Some fun critter would you rathers to answer with your child: Would you rather smell skunk spray every second of every day or would you rather hear spring peepers peep every second of every day?  Would you rather have the tail of a beaver or the tail of a white-tailed deer?  Would you rather have the talons of a hawk or the webbed feet of an otter?  Would you rather have your entire body covered in fish scales or would you rather have your whole body covered in snake scales?
