If you’re curious about what your child has been up to in camp this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- The recent rain has prevented us from visiting the creek this week. However, we have explored several tributaries which are small streams that run to the creek. What aquatic critters have we found? Was it easier to find animals right after the rain or later in the week? Why?
- Some times you need a break from being a nomad! During our travel breaks, we have played numerous games. Which game has been your favorite so far? How do you play it? What makes it better than the other games you have played?
- Show and Tell= Ask to see your child’s craft projects. The group has made journals, whittled wood projects, painted natural objects and crafted necklaces with leaf charms on them this week.
- Answer this question together= If you were going to live the life of a nomad, where would you roam if you could roam anywhere in the world?
