If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- We began our week constructing our own practice course to improve our hand and eye coordination as well as our aim and mobility. What are the elements of the course made out of? What did you make? Which element is the trickiest to hit?
- The group participated in a really fun service project on Monday afternoon. Why is it good to remove Japanese stilt grass? What did you make out of the grass? What are they going to be used for?
- Tuesday we began using primitive projectiles. Which was more difficult to use, atlatls or the sling? How would you make each if you were out in the forest? What is another common name for the sling? Why?
