If you’re curious about what your child has been up to in camp this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- Wednesday we went on a bug safari to find some fall creepy crawlies. What did we find? What tools did we use to catch and identify the creatures we found? Which critter was your favorite and why?
- This group has really enjoyed fort-building. Tell me about your forts. What materials did you use to make them? (A few campers have chosen to work on their whittling growth rings instead of forts. Ask them to tell you each growth ring level and which level they are on.)
- Thursday morning we built a fire, made pine needle tea, and roasted marshmallows. How do you make pine needle tea? What did it taste like? Did you like it?
