If you’re wondering what your camper has been up to this week, here are some questions to get the conversation started…
- Monday the group learned an important life lesson, how to identify poison ivy. Where are the two places poison ivy can grow? How do you know if it is poison ivy?
- In our creek explorations we have located salamanders, crayfish, water striders, and tadpoles. Which one was your favorite and why? What is something the group hasn’t found yet but you hope to find?
- The highlight so far this week was discovering toads Tuesday morning in the toad houses the group built on Monday. What did you build the toad houses out of? What did the toads look like that you found? Do you think they will come back? P.S. The staff did not set this up, we were as excited as the campers!
