Our Raccoon campers had quite the week! We kicked it off on Monday with some special eclipse activities, taking time to learn about sun safety and watch the solar eclipse. After that, it was back to Schoolhouse as normal! Our campers practiced sneaking, running, and flinging with games like Beckon, Dragon’s Egg, Werewolf, and Sock Wars. They also saw some cool critters like a northern water snake, a black rat snake, and a hickory horned devil caterpillar. They also whittled, built forts, explored the Eno River, made smudges, and hiked and explored the park. It was a fun week and a delightful end to our summer season.
