This group of campers were excellent plant identifiers especially by Friday! They also built a lean to, did some map-reading, whittled, tried their hand at flint and steel, built a fire, and learned what to do in a few survival worst case scenarios. In addition to survival skills the group brushed up on their tree climbing skills and played an epic survival version of scout mission. It was a great way to end our 2016 at Umstead, thank you for an awesome week.
