Get Outside

Thank you for your interest! Due to the ongoing effects of the coronavirus pandemic, our Get Outside program is not currently available. Please check back for more updates as they become available.

Get Outside trips are day-long experiences allowing elementary and middle school-aged students a chance to explore the forests, splash in the creeks, play games, and to develop their sense of wonder through active outdoor learning including adventures in science, social studies, math, music, and folklore. We’re happy to talk with you and create a unique day for your organization! Our Durham location at West Point on the Eno provides an incredible backdrop for many different topics!

Important Information

  • This program is designed for 5-14 year olds that are attending as members of an organization, club, or other pre-established group
  • Groups must bring their own adult staff or chaperones
  • We’re able to facilitate groups between 10-30 participants

  • We recommend, but don’t require, that groups attend with similarly aged participants

  • Typical programs run 9am-2pm

  • Transportation and lunches are not provided

We’re hoping to have Get Outside programs at West Point on the Eno Park in Durham beginning in Summer 2020. Specific dates and registration information will be posted early 2020!
